Es necesario reflexionar sobre las posibilidades de aplicación de la tecnología de movilidad para conocer y gestionar nuestro entorno urbano desde la innovación y sin necesidad de esperar a unos desarrollos tecnológicos futuros. El objetivo de este artículo no es ofrecer una serie de datos sobre el nivel de despliegue actual de las distintas tecnologías de movilidad, más allá de lo que atañe al tráfico y a la circulación de vehículos, ni tampoco analizar estadísticas sobre el grado de desarrollo de los procesos.

Abstract
It is necessary to reflect on the possibilities currently placed at our disposal by the application of mobility technology to know and manage our urban environment in ways that have not been performed before and without having to await the development of future technologies. This article does not attempt to going into broad detail regarding the current level of deployment of different mobility technology, other than that concerning traffic and the movement of vehicles, and we shall not attempt to analyse statistics regarding the degree of development of these processes.
