Abstract
The Ebro Delta owes its existence to water, and the work carried out to contain, channel, raise and utilize the water, i. e. the hydraulic infrastructures, have been and will continue to be the driving force of development in the Delta regions. This article considers the past, the present and the future prospects of these infrastructures: irrigation and drainage canals, the supply of drinking water, and also the question of navigation on the river.
